Testing / Performance
The Fujifilm FinePix E550 retails for around US $399.95, but you can find one for as little as US $287.95 if you search online. At this price, the incredibly large 1/1.7-inch 6.0 effective megapixel CCD and 2-inch LCD make this camera a strong option for the economic point-and-shoot digital camera user that values manual control options. There is the opportunity for 4x optical zoom, manual focus, white balance, shutter speed, aperture, and EV compensation. The E550 captures still images in five resolution settings, and has video capture available with audio, recordable at 30 fps in two resolution sizes.
