Fidelity Expands Digital Photo Frame Line

February 16, 2007 – Canadian-based Fidelity Electronics Inc. announced this week the expansion of their digital photo frame product line with six new models, including one with 1GB of internal memory, that are all currently in development. The new Fidelity photo frames include 7-inch and 10.4-inch displays, starting at $99 to $399 that will be available sometime this year, according to a Feb. 14 company press release.

“We are establishing Fidelity Electronics as a global provider of a wide range of high quality, well-priced digital picture frames,” said Fidelity Electronics President Stan Samole in the release.

The new Fidelity frames include the 10.4-inch  DPF-1000PF Digital Professional Frame. Aimed at users with large volumes of photos, the frame comes with 1GB of built-in memory, supporting 17-megapixel images, according to the release. The frame also has auto image rotate.

Fidelity will also launch the upcoming 10.4-inch DOF-1000F Digital Office Frame. Like the name implies, the frame is geared towards business presentations and can hold 256MB of memory.

The 10.40-inch DPF-1050F is modeled after the older 1040F but adds new software for enhanced graphics and built-in or remote controls. The frame holds 256MB of memory.

In addition, Fidelity will introduce the 7-inch DPF-7000F and DPF-7010F with a wireless remote control, and the DPF-7050F with music and video capabilities
.
Previous Fidelity models include 262,144 pixel resolution LCD screens with support for multimedia including MPEG video and MP3 music.
