July 28, 2006 – Extensis released on Wednesday a universal update to their photo workflow management software, Portfolio version 8.1.
Portfolio 8.1 now supports all computer systems, with the added Intel-based Mac application. “Releasing this UA version of the entire Portfolio 8 product family was the logical next step for Extensis to support its customer and provide leading technology solutions for creative professionals,” said Extensis Director of Product Management Martin Stein in Wednesday’s press release.
The update, available in English, French, and German, is free for existing registered users of Portfolio 8 at http://www.extensis.com/portfolio. New users can purchase the full product for $199.95.
Canon introduced the PowerShot SD4000 IS today, combining a back-illuminated CMOS sensor with a fast f/2.0 lens for enhanced available-light shooting. Priced at $349.99, the camera is scheduled for May availability.
