Corel Offers Software and Vialta Digital Frame Bundle
December 1, 2006 – Editing software provider Corel Corp. announced yesterday a holiday bundle package of Corel Paint Shop ProPhoto XI and a VistaFrame by its newly partnered electronics company Vialta Inc. The software and digital frame package retails for $179.99.
"The ultimate gift for any digital camera owner, this holiday bundle gives consumers all the tools they need to fix, enhance, and display their digital photos," stated the Corel press release yesterday.
Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo, retailing for $69.99 when sold separately, includes a photo organizer, color changer, add-on graphics and borders, skin smoother, and a "time machine" tool that ages photos to look like processed images from various decades.
The new VistaFrame, which normally retails for $149.99, features a 6.8-inch TFT color LCD with 89,856 pixel resolution. The digital frame is compatible with SD, MMC, CF (Type I only), SmartMedia, and Memory Stick. Users can customize slideshows or view photos as single images on the digital frame. The VistaFrame is also equipped with a motion sensor for a power-saving mode.
Bundled together, users will save up to 30 percent on Corel Paint Shop ProPhoto XI and VistaFrame, according to the release, with a total savings of $40.
