Corel Announces CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X3 for Vista

February 2, 2007 – With the release of the new PC platform system this week, Corel Corp. announced the “industry’s first full-featured Graphics Suite certified for Windows Vista,” in a Jan. 26 press release. Along with full compatibility, the new CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X3 collection adds new features and retails for $379 for the full version or $169 for the upgrade. Both the full version and upgrade are currently available in either boxed orders or via download.

“By choosing CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X3, users are guaranteed a smooth transition and exceptional compatibility whenever they are ready to make the move to this new OS,” said Corel's general manager of graphics Nick Davies in the release.

Compatible with the new PC-operating system Vista, Corel DRAW Graphics Suite X3 includes the page layout program CorelDRAW X3, the bitmap-to-vector software PowerTRACE, and the photo editing program PHOTO-PAINT X3 that includes a new color adjustment lab.

The suite features a redesigned user interface, a new crop tool, and improved text handling on the path precision tool. Corel added 1000 new fonts and has 10,000 clip art images to choose from. CorelDRAW X3 promises increased workflow security with their password-protected PDFs to protect client information.
