Casio to Offer Special-edition Breast Cancer Awareness Camera Bundle
July 20, 2007 - Casio Inc. will offer a limited-edition camera bundle in October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. The bundle will include a pink 7.2-megapixel EXILIM EX-Z75 and a carrying case and lanyard featuring a pink ribbon. "The National Breast Cancer Foundation was founded to give help, support and hope to those facing breast cancer," said Janelle Hail, founder and president of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, in a company press release. "We thank Casio, Inc. for joining us in helping save lives through education and early detection."
Announced in January, the EX-Z75 features 3x optical zoom lens, a 2.6-inch LCD, a movie mode, Anti-Shake DSP, and an EasyMode catered to beginners.
"We are proud to be a sponsor of the National Breast Cancer Foundation," said Bill Heuer, Vice President of Casio’s Digital Imaging Division. "We hope that by purchasing the EX-Z75 in honor of breast cancer patients and survivors, users will capture every valuable moment with their friends and family."
The bundle will have an MSRP of $179.99. The EX-Z75 had an initial suggested retail price of $229.99, but can now be found online for about $170.
