May 9, 2007 – Casio this month released firmware update version 1.01 for the EX-Z60 point-and-shoot model. The update adds support for 8GB SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) memory cards or higher, which allow users to store more images.
Casio warns that updating to version 1.01 will cause the loss of Russian display messages. Other languages, including English, will still display messages. The camera battery should be fully charged before installing the update.
