March 3, 2009 – Casio announced the 10-megapixel EXILIM Zoom EX-Z29 today. This relatively basic camera offers 3x zoom (37.5-112.5mm equivalent) face detection, 23 scene modes and wide-screen movie recording at 848 x 480 resolution. The 2.7-inch screen is low-res at 114,960-dot resolution. The ZZ29, which measures 3.64 x 2.16 x .91 inches (92.5 x 54.9 x 23.1 mm), will be available in black, pink, blue and silver when it ships in April for $149.99.
