Physical Tour
The Casio EX-Z600 was released this week at PMA and promises to add a strong competitor in the crowded 6 MP market. This digital camera features a 2.7-inch, 153,600 pixel Super Bright LCD screen, a handful of manual controls including manual focus and a movie mode setting that shoots video at 640 x 480 VGA-quality at 30 fps. The feature that sets this camera apart is the 33 best shot modes, which go far beyond the unusual night scene, night portrait and fireworks options. Casio also offers the user over movie editing, motion to print abilities, cropping, zooming, keystone correction and photo viewing from a calendar perspective. Priced reasonably with an MSRP of $299, the Casio EX-Z600 could be a camera for both beginning and more advanced point-and-shoot users.
