Review Highlights

Expansive 12.5x optical zoom range

1000fps video mode is as cool as ever

The menu system is still a jumble of long lists of options

Few meaningful upgrades over older EX-ZR100

Introduction

The Casio EX-ZR200 is the new flagship of the company’s EXILIM line of point-and-shoot compact cameras. Replacing the EX-ZR100, the ZR200 has already made its presence known elsewhere in the world, making its stateside debut at the end of January. The ZR200 has a 12.5x optical zoom, a 16.1-megapixel CMOS with sensor-shift stabilization, and the high-speed image capture and processing that is the hallmark of Casio’s compact line. The EX-ZR200 will be available in April for $379.99 in white, black, red, and blue.
