Conclusion

Casio EX-FH100

Casio has squeezed a lot of photographic capability into the compact FH100 package. With 9-megapixel stills at up to 40 shots per second, and super-slow-motion video at a screen-filled 640x480 resolution, any proud parent of a budding sports star will find this one hard to resist. And while it's simple enough to use in full auto mode, we like the fact that you also get aperture-priority, shutter-priority and full manual exposure flexibility, can take a manual white balance reading, and focus manually. In the past, we've had some quibbles with the picture quality of Casio's high-speed cameras in our lab testing, but with a new sensor under the hood, we're not making any assumptions. And based on feature set alone, we're enthusiastic about this camera's prospects as a go-anywhere, shoot-anything photographic tool
