November 28, 2006 – Canon , Inc. renewed its partnership with Madison Square Garden in a three-year deal, announced yesterday in a Canon press release.
Canon expands on its relationship with Madison Square Garden, known as “The World’s Most Famous Arena,” according to the Canon release. Canon will be the sponsor of the “Rangers Canon Goalcam” for the New York hockey team’s home games. In exchange, the Canon logo will be visible on the New York Rangers website, the arena's signs, scoreboard, and on the ice during all home games.

Madison Square Garden and feel that our partnership has helped heighten the visibility and value of our brand,” said Canon corporate communications senior vice president and general manager William Reed in the press release.
