Canon Sponsors Getty Images Gallery
Canon had further strengthened its ties with Getty Images by sponsoring the Getty Images Gallery, London from 2008 to 2010. The first show to be sponsored by Canon in the gallery would be Peacocks & Pinstripes men’s fashion exhibition which would run from 6 to 28 June 2008."Day in, day out, Getty Images’ photographers use Canon cameras to capture the powerful images that are seen in newspapers, magazines and websites across the globe; and for many years innovative Canon technologies have complemented such forward-thinking imagery," said Karz Suzuki, Head of Canon Professional Services. "Canon is delighted to take this opportunity to help the Getty Images Gallery celebrate the power of the photographic image."
