April 17, 2007 - Canon has released firmware update version 1.0.5 for the EOS Digital Rebel XTi/EOS 400D DSLR. According to the company, the update addresses a minor issue with PictBridge, improves compatibility with the Speedlite 380EX flash, and adds the ability to select [Redeye 1] when connecting with specific Canon PIXMA photo inkjet printers.
