Testing / Performance
The Canon PowerShot has a 1/1.8-inch, 4 megapixel CCD and retails for US $399. As a still digital camera with hybrid capability, the Canon PowerShot S410 records video at 10 frames per second with simultaneous audio. It has a 3x optical zoom with an additional 3.6x digital boost when necessary. The Canon PowerShot S410 provides some manual control features, although most have automatic parameters built in, gearing the camera towards the point-and-shoot consumer. In addition, the Canon S410 also has a 1.5-inch LCD screen as well as a real image optical zoom viewfinder.
