Introduction

The Canon SX230 HS is the 2011 update to Canon's line of compact travel-zoom cameras, combining GPS functionality, a 12.1-megapixel CMOS image sensor, and 14x optical zoom lens in a slim body. The camera benefits from optical image stabilization, features mostly physical controls, has a rear 3-inch LCD, and a Digic IV processor allowing for full 1080p HD video capture.
