Canon PowerShot SD110 Digital Camera Review

With its stainless steel body, the Canon PowerShot SD110 provides a substantial camera in a compact and durable frame. The 3.3 megapixel camera is stylish and slim, but heavier than it looks. It is small enough to fit into a pocket, but has enough weight that you’ll notice if it falls out. The portable SD110 is just one in Canon’s Digital ELPH line of compact cameras that aims for the trendier consumer market.

Canon advertises advanced color accuracy and vibrancy from their signature DIGIC image processor. The SD110 sports a 1/2.7-inch CCD that uses 3.2 of its 3.3 megapixels for imaging. The digital camera comes with a Canon 2x optical zoom lens that retracts into the camera’s slender body. It also comes with a 1.5-inch color LCD screen and a trendy Print/Share button. The button is new to Canon and designed for one-touch printing directly from the camera. With an easy layout and intuitive design, this PowerShot is a steal for the $200 street price. It was originally released at a retail price of $299, but can be found much cheaper at most outlets.
