Because it doesn't offer any manual exposure control, we weren't able to run our dynamic range test on the ELPH 530 HS. In general, point-and-shoots don't capture nearly as wide of a dynamic range as large-sensor cameras do, so we wouldn't expect this to perform much better or worse than similar models.
