Canon PowerShot A2100 IS Digital Camera Review

Canon PowerShot A2100 IS

First Impressions Review

Canon's 12.1-megapixel PowerShot A2100 IS has a good-looking design and an extended 6x optical zoom range , but a somewhat basic set of features overall, including minimal manual controls. The A2100, priced at $249.99, wont start shipping until April , but we had the opporunity to work with a pre-production model at the PMA trade show. Here's our first reaction.

Introduction

Canon's 12.1-megapixel PowerShot A2100 IS has a good-looking design, but a somewhat basic set of features overall. While it does have several automatic modes, the A2100 doesn't have a tutorial mode as many other entry-level point-and-shoot cameras.

The A2100 will be available in April of 2009 for $249.99.
