Canon USA, Europe and Canada have also joined the EOS-1D Mark III sub-mirror repair program bandwagon. All the different Canon concerns will adopt a similar strategy and here is how Canon USA will combat this escalating problem.

The company will recall the effected cameras from U.S. and Puerto Rico and perform the sub-mirror fix, free of charge. For the uninitiated the fix involves correcting the AI Servo focus inaccuracy in high temperatures.
