Canon EOS-1D Mark III Latest Update

We have already talked about the problems plaguing the EOS-1D Mark III and here is the latest update from that story. Canon USA has released the  list of camera serial numbers which are within the affected serial number range but have a  working sub-mirror mechanism.

“While the broad range of serial numbers would suggest the 3450 cameras were manufactured on varying dates going back several months, such is not the case”, says Chuck Westfall, Director of Media and Customer Relationship at Canon USA.
