October 3, 2005 - Digital Camera Battery, a company that makes batteries designed for digital cameras and other electronics with high power requirements, has today begun selling their Digital Camera Battery Tester, a device that tests the capacity of the rechargeable batteries the company sells. The Tester indicates capacity in 5 watt increments over a 0-200 watt range, and is also capable of performing a reconditioning cycle.
The Tester, which can test eight of Digital Camera Battery’s cells at a time, is currently available for $99.00 US. It is not clear whether the Tester can test the capacity of batteries made by other manufacturers.
