June 26, 2006 – On Friday, Bibble Labs, Inc. released an update to the workflow management and RAW conversion software, Bibble Pro and Bibble Lite. Version 4.8 is free for existing Bibble users.
Version 4.8 "represents the third such major upgrade of 2006," according to Friday's Bibble press release. With the update comes a redesigned lens correction tool that corrects barrel and pincushion distortion, vignetting, and chromatic aberration. The new "Spot Color" plugin enables quick black and white conversion with color channel control.
The upgrade also now provides support for Fujifilm’s S3 Pro and Panasonic’s LX1, on Windows systems only.
"Bibble was one of the first RAW Workflow tools to offer a native Intel Mac package, and now 4.8 is available as a Mac Universal Binary," says the Bibble release.
The price of Bibble Pro is $129.95, and Bibble Lite is $69.95.
