November 14, 2006 – Apple released an update to their digital camera RAW support for Mac OS X Tiger systems. The update 1.0.1, in a PPC or universal version, fixes a minor bug and improves DSLR support.
The update improves Mac support of RAW files from the Canon Digital Rebel XTi, the Nikon D80, and the Pentax*ist DS with applications such as Aperture, iPhoto, and Preview.
The update 1.0.1 also fixes handling of Canon files, DNG files on Intel-based Macs, and image-exporting on Aperture.
