Aperture 2.1 plug-in SDK Available to Developers
Apple as promised by them last month has released Aperture 2.1 plug-in SDK , which is available as a free download from the Apple Developer Connection member site that can be accessed here. One needs to register at the website before downloading.The Aperture 2.1 SDK provides protocol definitions for creating an Edit plug-in that lets you make your image processing software directly available to Aperture users. In particular, an Edit plug-in can:
* Display a custom interface
* Request editable versions of an image.
* Add metadata to images.Â
* Manipulate image data for images in the Aperture library. A
* Import result images back into the Aperture library
