Adobe Releases Camera Raw 3.5

September 20, 2006 – Adobe Systems released this month an update to their RAW converter used in Photoshop CS2, Camera Raw 3.5. The converter includes support for DNG files and adds compatibility with recently introduced cameras in v3.5, including the Sony A100, Nikon D2Xs, Panasonic DMC-L1 and DMC-FZ50, and Kodak EasyShare P712.

Updates 2.3 or higher, including the most recent version Camera Raw 3.5, support digital negative format (DNG files).

Adobe notes that in light of recent camera introductions, “Camera RAW 3.6 development has been accelerated to accommodate recently announced cameras such as the Nikon D80 and the Canon EOS 400D/Digital Rebel Xti.” Camera RAW 3.6 will be available in the fall, according to the Adobe website.
