Adobe Updates DNG Converter and Camera Raw 3.6 Beta


October 9, 2006 – Adobe Systems, Inc. released on Friday updates to their DNG converter and Photoshop plug-in Camera Raw, adding support for new cameras.

Camera Raw converts RAW file images in Photoshop CS2 to a “more universal DNG (digital negative) raw file,” according to the Adobe webpage. Camera Raw 3.6 Beta now adds support for recent cameras including the Canon Digital Rebel XTi, Nikon D80, Leica D-LUX3 and Digilux 3, Pentax K100D, and the Panasonic DMC-LX2.

for Windows and http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=39&platform=Macintosh for Mac systems.
