Kodak Line-up Includes Touch-Screen SLICE, Four Others
January 6, 2010 – Kodak introduced five cameras today, highlighted by the 3.5-inch touch-screen SLICE, which incorporates enough internal memory to store and display 5000 photos in a digital album format. The 14 megapixel camera includes a 5x zoom lens, rechargeable battery power, and the Share Button feature, common to all the new Kodak models, which allows in-camera tagging of photos for upload or emailing at the press of a single button.
The SLICE shoots video at up to 720p, 30 frame per second resolution. It will be available in black, nickel and radish (?!) when it ships in April, for $349.95.
The other four introductions are part of the company’s EasyShare M line. They include:
M580: 14 megapixel, 8x zoom lens, 3-inch LCD, HD video with HDMI connector. Colors will include silver, light blue, brown, purple and pink, priced at $199.95, April ship date.
M575: 14 megapixel, 5x zoom lens, 3-inch LCD, HD video. Available in red, green, blue, black and brown, price $179.95, April availability.
M550: 12 megapixels, 5x zoom lens, 2.7-inch LCD. Colors are dark grey, purple, tan, blue and green, price $149.95, ship date March.
M530: 12 megapixels, 3x zoom lens, 2.7-inch LCD. Available in red, green, blue, orange and carbon, priced at $129.95, shipping in February.
