Question New Camera: ultra zoom/image stabilzer...which one

I am ready for a new ultra zoom camera. Loved my fujifilm 3800 but it was horrible in low light and not a long enough zoom. I have researched for way too long and want to get something soon. Not interested in SLR at this time, (started on Pentax K1000 years ago) but I want great photos at 8 X 10. I have narrowed down to: Panasonic FZ50, Cannon S5 IS, Fujifilm s8000fd, but I am open to other suggestions. I really don't care about price and will spend up to $800 if needed.
I had thought about getting the Pentax K100D and using my old lenses, but just not up to lugging all that around.
Any ideas?? Thanks
confused

An SLR admittedly - but would an Olympus E-410 and the tiny kit lenses be small enough? I got an older E-400 for Christmas - it's lovely - almost definitely smaller than what I remember of the last K1000 I handled...
