I'm a beginner. I can attach photo's with Microsoft Digital Imaging. It doesn't seem to want video though. Do I need a different software or do I need a different approach? All advice will be welcomed.

Have you done any editing to your file, or just want to send a what u see is what u get?
Put the file from your camera into a folder on your computer, saved as a .avi file.
You should then attach it to your email e.g. Outlook Express.
However, you file should be small as some ISP's will not allow large files.
I hope this will help you. That's how I send mine.
