Default help choosing a camera for 4wheeling

i am looking for a camera that:

1) is small enough to keep in my front pocket
2) shoots decent pictures, point and shoot, i don't mess with settings.
3) shoots good video. 640x480 @ 30fpm
4) is reasonably durable - a optical zoom that dosn't move would be ideal
5) cost is a factor, but i will spend what i need to
6) i shoot mostly outdoor shots, i take it with me when i go 4wheeling, so it gets exposed to the elements.

i have been using a casio card camera ex-s600, but it has been damaged so i am looking for a replacement. the casio ex-v7 looks interesting to me, shoots mpeg 4 video, 7x opical zoom that is all internal, and is small. any opinions on this, would there be a better camera for what i need it for?

thanks for the help.

Check out this thread from last year:

You might want to go for something more rugged than the Casio, given what you'll be using it for. The Ricoh 500G mentioned is quite big, certainly not shirt-pocketable, but environmentally searled offerings from Olympus and Pentax are still small.
