canon capture to PC

Hi,

is anyone knows a better alternative to the Canon Capture tool ?
something simple but less expensive than Capture One ?
I just want to see the full view of the shoot I just taken to my PC when I connect the Canon 400D to the PC.

This might sound dumb, but maybe you could run the likes of Picasa at the same time as you take and capture shots? If you save to a directory that Picasa is watching, it'll see the new file and index it pretty quickly.

OK, so it's not an all-in-one deal, but it definitely meets the requirements of simple and less expensive than Capture One...
