Went to B&H. Going to buy the S3 and some accessories. This is what the sales person advised:

Impact batterycharger and 4 batteries ($20 approx)
Extreme III 2GB memory card (x2) ($40 each, also has a mail in rebate $15 from sandisk)

optionally, he also mentioned a wide angle lens ($150 approx)

This is all for a three week trip to Alaska, which includes small boat cruising, Denali Park bus tour and scenic driving.

We did not discuss a case, so I would need advice on a bag good enough to hold the above items (not just the camera)

All this a good offer? And can you let us know if this product list and their prices is a good start? Also, does anyone know about the Impact battery charger? Is this a good brand? If not, which one should we get to stay around the $20 price?
