First, I'd like to welcome you to DCI's forums.
Now to answer your questions, I have a good solution for you. DCI offer's a great tool for finding just what you need. On the left navigation menu, if you click on the "Digital Camera Prices" link, you will be directed to our price comparison database. There you can specify the search options that meet your criteria and list the cameras accordingly.
I clicked on "Set Price Range" on the bottom and specified $150 - $250 as the range. Here are the results:

Now keep in mind that the ratings listed there are user ratings from PriceGrabber and not DCI's superior ratings which rely on extensive testing. So if you find a camcorder that you're interested in, make sure to read DCI's review for it prior to finalizing your purchase, so that you can have peace-of-mind.
