Pentax and Ricoh share a booth at Photokina, which makes sense because the two manufacturers are essentially part of the same company. But even with Pentax and Ricoh joining forces, the booth still didn't feel that large compared to the other big names at Photokina. Pentax did have some interesting new products to play with, however, including the K-5 II and its sister model the K-5 IIs, as well as a new Q-series camera and an array of lenses for both systems.

During our stop at the booth, we got a quick rundown of the new features on the K-5 II, but you can read the complete details in our First Impressions Review of the camera here. We then took some time to check out the tiny Q10, which sports a new sensor and slightly different ergonomics than its predecessor. In addition to these new cameras, the booth was also host to some old friends: the illustrious K-01 with its unusual design by famed industrial designer Marc Newson, last year's original Pentax Q, and the weatherproof K-30, which we reviewed a few weeks ago.
