Reviewed.com March Camera Deals Roundup

deal

A roundup of great camera deals this month.

This is a very interesting time of year for electronics. While companies are preparing their new products for launch this spring, slightly older models are getting the boot. Luckily this is good for you, the consumer, who wants to get a great deal on a great product. If you don't mind getting last year's model, you'll find plenty of high quality cameras at great prices this month.

We scoured the Internet for some deals on our highest-rated cameras, and here is what we found.

Sony Alpha A77

Get a great deal on a Sony A77 camera.

The Sony A77 is one of the most advanced single-lens translucent (SLT) cameras in Sony’s lineup with super-fast shooting, full-time autofocus, and a stunning OLED viewfinder. It’s pretty pricey though for the average consumer, but luckily B&H Photo and Video has knocked $300 off the list price.

This is a limited-time offer from the company, and expires at the end of the month. If you want other Sony deals, Amazon is offering Sony SLR cameras, which are marked down up to $300 through March 31.

Nikon Coolpix P7700

The Nikon Coolpix P7700, our highest-rated point-and-shoot camera is on sale in March.

We voted this our best point-and-shoot of 2012, and it’s easy to see why. For a compact camera, the P7700 has tons of features, and provides a full experience for more advanced photographers. Best of all, in 2013, it’s on sale.

The camera was originally listed at $499 MSRP. It’s unclear if this is a permanent price cut or a limited time offer.

Canon Powershot G15

The Canon PowerShot G15 is going at a great price right now.

It is difficult to go wrong with a Canon G series camera. It’s the kind of thing that puts fear into the hearts of rival electronics manufacturers.

This is $50 off the $499 MSRP, so it’s not a huge price drop, but any money saved is another few bucks towards that newer camera you’ll probably want in a year.

Panasonic Lumix FZ200

The Panasonic Lumix FZ200, which has a wide aperture, is on sale.

This beautiful camera not only shoots great video, but it also has a constant f/2.8 lens, making it one of the widest apertures in the superzoom category. That, combined with a fast burst speed, make taking action shots easy and gorgeous.

People who purchase this camera through Adorama get a $100 instant rebate off the $599 MSRP, along with a $50 gift certificate to the online store, and a 16GB memory card.

Canon Powershot SX40 HS

The Canon PowerShot SX40 HS is on sale this month.

Thanks to the release of the SX50 HS, the Canon Powershot SX40 HS is looking at a nice price cut. This is still a solid camera with impressive zoom range and sharpness. It’s a great deal.

The camera was originally priced at $429. The newer model is better, but this is a great deal on a great product.

Sony Cyber-shot HX30V

Sony HX30V
The Sony HX30V is going for a great price right now.

Our main problem with this compact zoom camera was that it was too expensive. You could get a camera that could do more for much less. What happens then when this Cyber-shot is on sale for $100 off? It's suddenly worthwhile.

The street price is still about $50 less than the MSRP at $369 on other sites, so while this is not advertised as a deal specifically on Amazon, its price cut is still noteworthy.

Samsung EX2F

The Samsung EX2F compact camera is on sale.

This compact camera boasts a wide-aperture lens for low-light conditions, something that many basic DSLR kits don’t even have.

The camera was originally listed at $499 MSRP, and Amazon normally lists it at $449. Now it's going at another $50 off--a nice addition to your wallet.

Fujifilm FinePix HS30EXR

The Fujifilm FinePix HS30EXR is on sale in March.

This solid addition to the FujiFilm family was already a steal $499 MSRP for a superzoom camera with several high-end features. However, a good deal at Amazon puts it at more than $200 off.
